Last week, I was working on some last infinitesimal styling ideas for this post and ended up breaking apart a stalk of variegated kale (y'all can become it al the grocery shop, but I happen to pick mine upwards from a flower market) and cutting out shapes from each leaf.

I'm sure you can tell from the photos that these kale hearts are SUPER piece of cake to make, but as well kind of fun and lighthearted. Which is pretty much my favorite combo.
